Benedict XVI Centenary: two days of Theological Colloquia in India

Agra, 25-26 luglio

(22/7/26) The 27th Theological Colloquium organized by the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of India will take place on July 25 and 26 at the Nava Jyothi Pastoral Centre in Agra, India, focusing on the theme “A Rereading of the Theological Journey of Pope Benedict XVI (Joseph Ratzinger)”. This event marks a significant milestone among the initiatives promoted by the Ratzinger Foundation in preparation for the centenary of Benedict XVI.

 

Topics to be addressed include Benedict XVI’s encyclicals Deus caritas est and Spe salvi; the trilogy on Jesus of Nazareth; and – viewed through the lens of Ratzinger’s theology and thought – relativism, eschatology, the hermeneutics of the Second Vatican Council, ecclesiology, Christian anthropology, human dignity, Mariology, and interreligious dialogue.
