“JOSEPH RATZINGER, THE THEOLOGIAN OF THE SECOND VATICAN COUNCIL”: ACADEMIC EVENT IN PAMPLONA

23rd May 2014 – The Academic Event on “Joseph Ratzinger, the theologian of the Second Vatican Council” was held at the University of Navarra in Pamplona on 22nd May 2014 with the presentation of the 4th volume in the Spanish language of Joseph Ratzinger’s Opera Omnia. Cardinal Ratzinger had received the honorary doctorate at the same university in 1998. On the 50th anniversary of the Second Vatican Council, the Faculty of Theology and its dean, don Juan Chapa wanted to organize an important Academic Event with the participation of don Carlos Granados, General Director of the BAC of Madrid, don Pablo Blanco, a professor at the university, Christian Schaller, winner of the Ratzinger Prize in 2013 and Monsignor Giuseppe A. Scotti, president of the Joseph Ratzinger-Benedict XVI Vatican Foundation. The following are the interventions:
