The second conference, entitled “What makes a man” was held on 8^th-9^th November 2012 at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, in Brazil. 134 Universities and 700 scholars participated in the Conference and discussed on what really makes a man. The conference included anthropological and scientific debates. In the same University (PUC), whose Dean is Prof. De Franca Miranda, member of the International Theological Commission, a University chair was dedicated to Joseph Ratzinger.
