Love, horizon and meaning of the world. A Congress on Ratzinger in Campobasso

(27/6/16) “Joseph Ratzinger, love and horizon of meaning in contemporary world” is the topic of a Congress that will be held on 29th June in the afternoon, at the Auditorium “Celestino V” of Campobasso, Molise. The meeting was planned in order to celebrate the 65th anniversary of priesthood and the 10th anniversary of the encyclical “Deus Caritas Est” of the emeritus Pope Benedict XVI. It was organized by the “Joseph Ratzinger” International Cultural Centre and the archdiocese of Campobasso-Bojano, the socio-political Educational Institution “Beato Toniolo” and the “Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem” of Molise region. 

Father Ralph Weimann, member of the New Schülerkreis - the association of Ratzinger’s students - who is working at the Master’s degree course entitled: “Joseph Ratzinger. Studies and spirituality” of the Joseph Ratzinger-Benedict XVI Vatican Foundation,  was invited to the Congress.

 The anthropologist fr. Angelo Comito and the theologian fr. Domenico Concolino will lead a public discussion and Msgr. Giancarlo Bregantini, archbishop of Campobasso-Bojano, will deal with the conclusions of the Congress.
