The first edition of the Awards called “Razón abierta” will be presented on 27th September at the Pontifical Academy of Sciences of the Vatican City. It is the result of the International Congress on the topic “La oración, fuerza que cambia el mundo” (The prayer and the power to change the world) that the Foundation held in 2015 at the Francisco de Vitoria University of Madrid. The Congress was organized by the Spanish University and the same Foundation.

367 works are examined by the International Commission, coming from 170 universities and 30 countries. The award-winners chosen by the judges will be four – two regarding the “Research” section and two regarding the  “Teaching” section – and two honorary mentions to those who were able to answer the challenges to foster a dialogue among Science, Theology and Philosophy.

It is possible to consult the names of the award-winners and the topic of their works on the website of the Award “Razón abierta”.
