(19/9/16) The book “La oración, fuerza que cambia el mundo” (The prayer and the power to change the world) will be presented on Wednesday 28th September at 7 p.m. at the Almudena Cathedral of Madrid, Sala Capitular. It collects the proceedings of the Fifth International Congress promoted by the Joseph Ratzinger – Benedict XVI Vatican Foundation on the topic “La oración, fuerza que cambia el mundo” that was held in October 2015 at the Francisco de Vitoria University of Madrid, in a joint effort with the Foundation 5th Centenary of the birth of St. Teresa of Jesus.
The speakers of the Congress will be: the archbishop of Madrid Msgr. Carlos Osoro Sierra, vice-president of the Spanish Episcopal Conference, the rector of the Francisco de VitoriaUniversity Daniel Sada, the Provincial Prior of the Discalced Carmelites father Miguel Márquez Calle, the President of the Joseph Ratzinger – Benedict XVI Vatican Foundation fatherFederico Lombardi.
The book is published in Spanish language by BAC edition and edited by Isidro Catela Marcos in a collection called “Fe y Razón”. The first edition of the Awards called “Razon abierta” will be presented in the same occasion. The initiative was promoted by the Foundation.
