“Joseph Ratzinger in dialogue”, the second module of the Master’s degree

(8/3/16) The second module of the master's degree course “Joseph Ratzinger. Studies and spirituality” whose title is “Joseph Ratzinger in dialogue: Cooperatores veritatis” starts today. The lessons will be about "The place of Christianity in the history of religions", "Dialogue with the Jewish tradition", "The Courtyard of the Gentiles", "The Church and the modern world", "Christian Faith and politics".

The course is organized by the Joseph Ratzinger-Benedict XVI Vatican Foundation and the Augustinian Patristic Institute of Rome, where the lessons are held (on Monday for students who speak English and on Tuesday for those who speak Italian). It started on February and 100 students attended it.

The first module “Joseph Ratzinger and God’s word - Scriptura in Ecclesia” was developed in the first three lessons. During the last lesson of the first module, the book “Deus caritas est. Porta di Misericordia”, was also presented. It collects the proceedings of the International Symposium held in Rome on 19th-21st November 2015, in the tenth anniversary of the first encyclical of Benedict XVI.
