(7/6/16) This morning there was a visit from Poland to the new seat of the Joseph Ratzinger-Benedict XVI Vatican Foundation (via della Conciliazione 1). The president Msgr. Giuseppe A. Scotti welcomed the rector of Kujawy and Pomorze University of Bydgoszcz, Helena Czakowska and the president of the same University, Roman Czakowski. There was also the head of Ratzinger Study Centre of Bydgoszcz, fr. Mariusz Kucinski and the dean of the Cathedral Chapter of the Polish town, fr. Maciej Gutmajer.

In 2011 the first International Congress promoted by the Foundation was held in Bydgoszcz and the main topic was “Pilgrims of truth. Pilgrims of peace” and the following year the Study Centre dedicated to the work and the thought of Joseph Ratzinger was born.
