These are some of the words Pope emeritus Benedict XVI said yesterday afternoon, during the visit of Pope Francis and five new cardinals nominated by him. They went to Mater Ecclesiae Monastery, in the Vatican City, at the end of the Consistory.

Today is also the 66^th anniversary of the sacerdotal ordination of Joseph Ratzinger, celebrated on 29^th June 1951 at the Cathedral of Freising. Michael von Faulhaber, archbishop of Munich and Freising, had imposed his hands on him.
