(9/6/16) The Scientific Committee of the Joseph Ratzinger – Benedict XVI Vatican Foundation met this morning. The meeting was chaired by Cardinal Angelo Amato and the President of the Foundation Msgr. Giuseppe A. Scotti.

Cardinal Kurt Koch and the archbishop Luis Francisco Ladaria attended the meeting, while cardinal Gianfranco Ravasi was absent due to other commitments. The Committee discussed about the International Congress of high scientific quality that will be held in Rome from 24^th to 26^th November at the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross. The congress will be about the following topic: “Eschatology: analysis and perspectives”. At the end of the Congress, as it happened in the previous editions, the awarding ceremony of the 6^th  edition of Ratzinger Prize will be held.
