(1/6/16) This morning the auxiliary bishop of the archdioceses of Rio de Janeiro, Msgr. Paulo César Costa, visited the new seat of the Joseph Ratzinger – Benedict XVI Vatican Foundation, located in Via della Conciliazione 1. It is the first visit to the new office before its official inauguration.
The bishop was welcomed by Msgr. Giuseppe A. Scotti, president of the Foundation, Pierluca Azzaro, executive secretary and Luca Caruso, head of the press office.
Msgr.Costa visited the new rooms of the office and gave the regards of the cardinal archbishop of Rio de Janeiro, Orani João Tempesta. He asked about the initiatives of the Foundation and mentioned the Congress held in 2012 in Rio de Janeiro. During the Congress a new Ratzinger chair was established at the local Pontifical Catholic University.
