Symposium for the 50th Anniversary of the “Dei Verbum” at the Institute Pope Benedict XVI of Regensburg

(7/10/15) 50 years after the publication of the Dogmatic Constitution Dei Verbum, the Institute Pope Benedict XVI of Regensburg promoted an International Symposium that will be celebrated on 18th November. A lot of experts and scholars will participate in the Symposium; they will work on the meaning, the importance and the  topical interest  of the Second Vatican Council. Moreover, the concepts of Revelation, Tradition, Holy Scriptures and the Church play a fundamental role in the works of Joseph Ratzinger. When he was young, he was a council expert and theological counselor of the archbishop of Köln, cardinal Joseph  Frings, and he wrote a draft of the Council scheme about Revelation and a speech entitled “De fontibus revelationis” for the cardinal.
The Symposium will be held at the Institute Pope Benedict XVI and there will be,among others, the bishop of Regensburg Rudolf Voderholzer, and the professors Helmut Holping, Marius Reiser and Peter Hofmann.
