(30/8/16) From 26th to 28th August the traditional meeting of “Ratzinger Schülerkreis”, the Group of ex-students of Benedict XVI was held in Castel Gandolfo and the topic was “Europe in crisis”. This year the speakers were professor Joseph H.H. Weiler, president of the European University Institute, of Hebrew religion, on the topic “His Holiness, let me answer: to the spiritual crisis of Europe” and Msgr. Egon Kapellari, emeritus bishop of Graz-Seckau, on “Old and new challenges for Christian people in Europe”.
