A museum dedicated to Benedict XVI in Sicily

(11/5/15) The museum of the Basilica di San Filippo in Aci San Filippo (Catania) was dedicated today to the Pope emeritus Benedict XVI. The archbishop Georg Gänswein, prefect of the Pontifical House and personal secretary of the Pope emeritus, the archbishop of Acireale, Msgr. Antonino Raspanti and the bishop Giuseppe Sciacca, adjunct secretary of the Supreme Tribunal of the Apostolic Signatura and of the authorities of the city participate in the event. In 2009 Benedict XVI had given the church dedicated to the Saint the title of Pontifical Minor Basilica.
