(20/5/15) “Those who bring beauty, will never disturb me”. This is how the Pope emeritus greeted Fabio Lazzari, who gave him a beautiful book on John Paul’s teachings as a gift during their meeting. The Pontifical Council for Culture and important artists and writers collaborated in the writing of the book. It was written on the occasion of the canonization of Pope John Paul II. It is a precious work of art and faith that is available at the Mater Ecclesiae Monastery from Wednesday, 20th May. The Pope emeritus declared: “I live in Mater Ecclesiae Monastery as a monk. I pray, I listen, I answer the letters from many sick people and I give them the help of God”. It was an intense and moving meeting, during which Lazzari and the Pope emeritus remembered “ a great Pope, as John Paul II has always been recognized”.
