(14/02/2015) The Pope emeritus Benedict XVI accepted Pope Francis’s invitation to attend the Ordinary Public Consistory for the creation of 20 new cardinals. It was celebrated in the morning of Saturday 14th February in St. Peter’s Basilica and Benedict XVI was seated in the first row, among the cardinals. He also attended the Consistory on 22nd February 2014 for the creation of 19 new cardinals.
