(19/4/17) The Symposium “Il concetto di Stato nella prospettiva dell’insegnamento del Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger-Benedetto XVI” has been held today in Warsaw, at the venue of the Conference of the Polish Episcopate. The initiative was organized in order to celebrate 90th birthday of the Emeritus Pope Benedict XVI and it was promoted by the Conference of the Polish Episcopate, the Joseph Ratzinger – Benedict XVI Vatican Foundation, the president of the Polish Republic, the Catholic news agency Kai.
The greetings sent by Pope Francis to the organizers and the conference members, the message of the emeritus Pope Benedict XVI in German and Italian; the opening speech of the president of the Ratzinger Foundation, father Federico Lombardi are offered as follows.
